Synopsis
A young man refuses to start the new millennium in prison. To earn his freedom, he must murder his best friend... A young women contemplates suicide when suddenly left by the man she loves... These two distraught people find one another at midnight on a rooftop overlooking Copacabana Beach. Somewhere between heaven and hell, they attempt to invent a new life on December 31, 1999.
