Synopsis
Charley Thompson is 15 years old. He wants a home, food on the table and a high school he can attend for more than part of the year. As the son of a single father working in warehouses across the Pacific Northwest stability is hard to find. Press
"Lovely performance from Charlie Plummer – his smile could light up the desert night sky."
Jason Solomons
"Haigh reveals himself as, potentially, a very capable player on the international scene."
Eye for film
"Plummer is so magnetic because he never allows Charley even a scrap of self-pity, even though you wouldn’t blame him if he did. This is a cold movie dressed up like a warm one, but Plummer maintains the right temperature from start to finish, restrained but never unrealistic."
