Hsiao-kang shares an apartment in Taipei with his parents, but the three of them rarely speak to each other. As an extra in a film, Hsiao-kang plays a dead body in the dirty Tamsui River. Since then, a terrible pain in his neck troubles him. He tries all potential remedies, but nothing seems to help. A leak in his father’s bedroom ceiling also wreaks havoc on the family… A powerful dramatic portrait of a not-soordinary dysfunctional urban family.
